Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

- Provide direct patient care on medical-surgical floors at Parkland Memorial Hospital - Assist patients with daily activities: bathing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene - Take and record vital signs every 4 hours and report changes to the charge nurse - Turn and reposition patients to prevent pressure injuries - Transport patients to imaging, therapy, and procedure areas

- Active Texas CNA certification (they will not sponsor training for this role) - BLS/CPR certification current or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire - Comfortable in a Level I trauma center — you will see critical cases - Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night) including every other weekend - Physical stamina to lift and reposition patients throughout your shift
