What You'll Do
- Provide bedside nursing care on a 36-bed med-surg unit at BSW Irving
- Manage 4-5 patients per shift with conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic disease management
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care per physician orders
- Coordinate with case managers, social workers, and therapy teams on discharge planning
- Precept new graduate nurses and nursing students during clinical rotations
What You Need
- Active Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
- 1+ year of acute care nursing experience (new grads considered for the residency program)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Med-surg certification (CMSRN) preferred but not required
- Comfortable with Epic Beaker, Rover, and standard charting modules
