Best Premier League kits of the 2025-26 season ranked

Every season brings new kits and new debates. Here are the best and worst of the 2025-26 Premier League season.

Top 5:

  1. Arsenal home — Classic cannon crest, clean red with white sleeves. Adidas consistently delivers for Arsenal. The most iconic template in English football.
  2. Newcastle home — Black and white stripes. Always looks good. The Adidas partnership has produced some of the best Newcastle kits in decades.
  3. Nottingham Forest home — The Garibaldi red is one of the most beautiful shirts in football. Simple, elegant, historic.
  4. Aston Villa away — Clean design, classic claret and blue accent on a white base. Understated quality.
  5. Brighton third kit — Bold design that actually works. Different enough to stand out without being gimmicky.

Worst 3:

  1. Any kit with an oversized sponsor logo that dominates the entire front. The shirt should represent the club, not the sponsor.
  2. Gradient designs that look like they were made in Microsoft Paint.
  3. Any predominantly grey kit. Grey kits are cursed. Manchester United proved this in the 90s when they changed at halftime because they could not see each other.

Trends this season:

  • Retro designs are dominating. Clubs are leaning into 90s nostalgia.
  • Collar details are back. Subtle polo collars and v-necks replacing crew necks.
  • Simpler is better. The busiest designs are universally disliked.
