Every season brings new kits and new debates. Here are the best and worst of the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Top 5:
- Arsenal home — Classic cannon crest, clean red with white sleeves. Adidas consistently delivers for Arsenal. The most iconic template in English football.
- Newcastle home — Black and white stripes. Always looks good. The Adidas partnership has produced some of the best Newcastle kits in decades.
- Nottingham Forest home — The Garibaldi red is one of the most beautiful shirts in football. Simple, elegant, historic.
- Aston Villa away — Clean design, classic claret and blue accent on a white base. Understated quality.
- Brighton third kit — Bold design that actually works. Different enough to stand out without being gimmicky.
Worst 3:
- Any kit with an oversized sponsor logo that dominates the entire front. The shirt should represent the club, not the sponsor.
- Gradient designs that look like they were made in Microsoft Paint.
- Any predominantly grey kit. Grey kits are cursed. Manchester United proved this in the 90s when they changed at halftime because they could not see each other.
Trends this season:
- Retro designs are dominating. Clubs are leaning into 90s nostalgia.
- Collar details are back. Subtle polo collars and v-necks replacing crew necks.
- Simpler is better. The busiest designs are universally disliked.
