Got home from work and my 2020 Kia Sportage was gone. Security cameras showed two guys walking up to it at 2pm, getting in, and driving away in under 90 minutes. Broad daylight. Nobody noticed or said anything.
Filed a police report but the officer basically told me "we'll let you know if we find it" which is cop for "it's gone."
I know about the Kia Boys thing and I thought it was mostly older models. Apparently not. If you have a Kia or Hyundai — get a steering wheel lock. I know it looks stupid but it would have stopped this.
Insurance is handling it but the deductible and the hassle is killing me.
