Best anti-theft devices for cars in DFW? I'm paranoid now

After reading about all the car thefts in DFW I'm paranoid every time I park my car. I drive a 2019 Hyundai which is apparently the number one target.

What anti-theft stuff actually works? I've seen:

  • Steering wheel clubs ($25-40)
  • Brake pedal locks ($30-50)
  • AirTags hidden in the car (tracking, not prevention)
  • Aftermarket kill switches ($100-200 installed)

Is a kill switch worth the money? Or is the steering wheel club enough to make them skip your car? I'm not trying to Fort Knox my Hyundai but I also don't want to walk out to an empty parking space.

Honestly? Park it in your garage if you have one. That's the best anti-theft device.
