HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — The City of Harker Heights is launching a new “Yard of the Month” program to recognize residents who take pride in maintaining attractive and welcoming outdoor spaces.
Announced by the city’s Code Enforcement Department, the initiative aims to highlight the role well-kept yards play in strengthening neighborhoods and fostering community pride. Officials say the program is a way to thank residents whose efforts often go unnoticed but contribute to the city’s overall appearance and atmosphere.
