What is KnowYard
KnowYard is a hyperlocal community platform organized by city. Users create and join topic-based communities, share posts, comment, and vote on content relevant to where they live. We are starting in Dallas-Fort Worth and expanding city by city.
By using KnowYard you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Content We Will Not Remove
We do not remove content simply because it is unpopular, controversial, or offensive. Opinions, strong language, heated disagreements, and unconventional takes are part of open community discussion. Users who do not want to see certain types of content can use our mute, block, and filter tools to control their own experience.

All moderation actions on KnowYard are public. Every removal, ban, and moderation decision is recorded in the mod log with a reason and the moderator who took the action. There is no shadowbanning.
