Stone Oak — the suburban bubble that never ends

Every store is a chain. Every restaurant has a wait. Every road is under construction. 1604 and Stone Oak Parkway at 5pm is a war zone.

But the schools are great and it's safe. So we stay. The suburban trap is real.

i moved here for the schools and i hate that it worked. my kids love it

stone oak is the frisco of SA. soulless but functional

the medical center jobs keep it growing. thats the engine

if you need anything interesting you have to drive 20 min south. thats the trade
