Giving away a working washer/dryer set — must pick up in Rowlett

We just upgraded our laundry setup and the old washer and dryer are free to whoever can pick them up.

The units:

• Whirlpool top-load washer, approximately 2018 model
• Whirlpool front-load gas dryer, same era
• Both are white, standard size
• Both work. No issues. We are upgrading because we wanted a larger capacity set for our growing family.

Condition:

• The washer has a small dent on the right side from when we moved in. Cosmetic only, does not affect function.
• The dryer drum is in good shape. No squeaks, no burning smell, dries a full load in about 50 minutes.
• Both have been cleaned out. No gunk, no mold, no smells.

The catch:

• You must pick them up from our house in Liberty Grove. I can help you load them into a truck but you need the truck.
• They are in the garage, first floor, no stairs.
• Pickup must be this weekend (Saturday or Sunday). We are putting the new set in on Monday and need the space.
• First person who can commit to a pickup time gets them.

Why I am giving them away instead of selling: Honestly, moving appliances is a hassle and I would rather someone who needs them get them for free than deal with lowball offers and no-shows on Facebook Marketplace for $100.
