Looking for a reliable lawn care service in Rowlett. Weekly mowing, edging, and blowing. I have about a quarter acre lot in Liberty Grove.
What I need:
- Weekly mowing during growing season (March-November)
- Edging along sidewalks and driveway
- Blowing clippings off the driveway and walkways
- Ideally the same crew every week so they know the property
What I do NOT need:
- Full landscaping services
- Fertilization programs (I handle that myself)
- Tree trimming or removal
Budget: $35-50 per visit for the above. I know labor costs have gone up and I want to pay fairly. I am not looking for the cheapest possible option. I am looking for someone who will actually show up every week and do it right.
What I have tried:
- TruGreen: showed up late, different crew every time, left clippings on the driveway. Cancelled after 3 months.
- A guy from Craigslist: great for 4 weeks then stopped showing up entirely. No explanation, never heard from him again.
- Doing it myself: I did for 3 years but between work and kids I no longer have the time on weekends.
What I am asking for: Recommendations for local, independent lawn care operators in the Rowlett area who are reliable and do quality work. Someone who has been doing your yard for more than 6 months and still shows up every week.

Carlos from Carlos Lawn Care has been doing our yard in Waterview for two years. Same crew every week, usually Wednesday mornings. $40 per visit for a similar-sized lot. Consistent, careful around the flower beds, and always blows the driveway clean. His number is on the Rowlett Community Facebook group.
