Best apartment complexes in DFW: The ones actually worth your rent

After years of renting across DFW and compiling data from this community, here are the complexes that consistently get positive reviews.

Uptown/Oak Lawn:

  • Gables Katy Trail — Well-maintained, great management, Katy Trail access. 1BR: $1,900-2,200. Google: 4.3 stars.
  • The Mondrian — Newer build, rooftop pool, responsive maintenance. 1BR: $1,750-2,100.

Deep Ellum:

  • The Epic — Best complex in Deep Ellum. Rooftop views, good security, walkable to everything. 1BR: $1,500-1,800.

Richardson:
