Got an EV last year and was worried about charging infrastructure. Honestly it's gotten way better around here even in the last 12 months.
Tesla Superchargers are everywhere and they opened to non-Tesla vehicles at a lot of locations. ChargePoint and Electrify America stations are popping up at grocery stores, malls, and highway stops.
My electric bill went up about $50/month from home charging but I was spending $350/month on gas before. Net savings of $300/month. The math works.
Anyone else make the switch? Or still waiting?
Apartment dwellers are still screwed though. No home charging means relying on public chargers which are slower, more expensive, and sometimes broken. Until apartments have chargers, EVs are a homeowner thing.
