I never really watched WNBA before, I'll be honest. My girlfriend dragged me to the game at College Park Center. And man, I was wrong about this league.
The atmosphere was way better than I expected. Tickets were like $30. The players are FAST. I knew Arike Ogunbowale was good but seeing her in person is different — she just creates shots from nothing.
My one complaint: the arena is too small and too far from Dallas proper. If they played somewhere more central I think attendance would double overnight. Arlington is fine for the Cowboys but for a weeknight WNBA game? It's a haul.
Anybody else been going this season?
Arike is a bucket. I remember when she hit that shot at Notre Dame and I knew she was gonna be special.
