DFW couples bucket list: 50 things to do before you leave the metroplex

My partner and I made this list when we moved here. We're at 37/50 after 3 years. How many have you done?

Food:

1. Get the brisket at Terry Black's, Pecan Lodge, AND Cattleack. Pick your champion.
2. Eat at every restaurant in Trinity Groves (there are 15+)
3. Sunday brunch at The Mansion on Turtle Creek
4. Whataburger at 2am after a night out
5. All-you-can-eat Korean BBQ on Royal Lane

Adventure: 6. Kayak White Rock Lake at sunrise 7. Hot air balloon ride over Plano/McKinney 8. Drive to Possum Kingdom Lake for a weekend 9. Hike at Dinosaur Valley State Park and see real dinosaur tracks 10. Take the Grapevine Vintage Railroad

Culture: 11. See every permanent collection at the Kimbell, DMA, Nasher, and Amon Carter 12. Catch a show at Bass Performance Hall (Fort Worth) 13. Walk the entire Katy Trail end to end 14. Visit Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum 15. First Saturday in Bishop Arts District

Seasonal: 21. State Fair of Texas — Big Tex, Fletcher's corny dogs, the car show 22. Dallas Blooms at the Arboretum 23. Christmas lights at Deerfield (Plano) and Interlochen (Arlington) 24. Scarborough Renaissance Festival (Waxahachie) 25. Lone Star Park horse racing
