Best seats at Globe Life Field: A section-by-section guide from someone who has sat everywhere

I have sat in 18 different sections at Globe Life Field over 3 seasons. Here is the honest breakdown.

Best overall experience: Sections 18-22 (Lower Home Plate) Behind home plate, lower level. You see every pitch, every swing, and you are close enough to hear the umpire. $80-150 depending on the opponent. This is the best way to watch baseball.

Best value: Sections 231-237 (Upper Home Plate) Upper deck behind home plate. $15-30 for most games. You see the entire field, the video board is directly in front of you, and the sightlines are genuinely good. For the price, this is unbeatable.

Best for groups/families: The Berm (Outfield grass area) $10-15 per person. Bring a blanket, let the kids run around on the grass, watch the game casually. No assigned seats — first come, first served for positioning. Perfect for families or groups who want a relaxed experience.

Best splurge: Sections 1-7 (Lexus Club) All-inclusive food and drink. Padded seats. In-seat service. $200-400 per game. If you are celebrating something or want to impress someone, this is the move.

Best for atmosphere: Sections 30-40 (Left Field Lower) The rowdiest section in the stadium. This is where the diehards sit. Expect standing, chanting, and a packed house even for Tuesday night games.

Avoid: Sections 301-310 (Upper Deck Down the Lines) Far from the action, some obstructed views depending on the exact seat, and the angle makes it hard to judge fly balls. The price savings ($10-15) are not worth the experience downgrade compared to upper deck behind home plate.

Sun warning: For day games, the 3rd base side (sections 25-35) gets direct sun through the roof panels. Even with the retractable roof closed, the sun comes through. Bring sunglasses or sit on the 1st base side.
