I've taken my dog to 12+ parks across DFW. Here's the definitive ranking.

- ZBonz Dog Park — 3117 Commerce St, Dallas. Downtown Dallas. Small but well-maintained. Great for urban dogs.
- Fort Woof Dog Park — 100 Bellnap Trail, Fort Worth. 5 acres, obstacle course, splash pad. Best park in Fort Worth. Source: fortworthtexas.gov/parks
Tier 2 — Excellent local options:
- NorthBark Dog Park — 3950 W Lovers Ln, Dallas. 20+ acres. One of the largest in DFW. Hills, trees, shade. Source: dallasparks.org
- Wagging Tail Dog Park — 8700 Briargate Dr, Frisco. Well-maintained, good drainage, double-gated entry.
- Jack Carter Dog Park — 2800 Alma Dr, Plano. Off-leash, wooded, trail system.
Tier 3 — Good neighborhood parks:
- Mutt Cantina — 3100 Main St, Dallas. Bar + dog park combo. Deep Ellum. $5 entry, full bar. Source: muttcantina.com
- Bark Park — multiple locations. Basic but functional.
- Z Bonz Park Central — 7900 Greenville Ave, Dallas. Off-leash, good for quick runs.
Dog park etiquette (because some people need reminders):
- Pick up after your dog. Every time.
- If your dog is aggressive, leave. It's not a debate.
- Keep your eyes on your dog, not your phone.
- Small dog section exists for a reason.

What's your dog's favorite park?
NorthBark is the hidden gem. 20 acres means your dog can actually RUN. Not just stand in a crowded dirt lot.
