- Southlake Carroll ISD — A+ overall. Consistently #1 in DFW. Average home price: $750K+.
- Highland Park ISD — A+ overall. Legacy district. Average home price: $1.2M+.
- Lovejoy ISD (Allen/Lucas) — A+ overall. Smaller district, high performance. Average home price: $500K+.
- Coppell ISD — A+ overall. Strong academics AND athletics. Average home price: $450K+.
- Frisco ISD — A overall. Massive growth, new schools, strong programs. Average home price: $400K+.
- Allen ISD — A overall. One high school for 6,000+ students (Eagle Stadium). Average home price: $380K+.
- Plano ISD — A overall. Two strong high schools (Plano Senior, Plano West). Average home price: $350K+.
Best value (good schools, more affordable):
