I've watched baseball my whole life. My dad took me to games when I was 5. But I can't sit through a full season anymore. 162 games is insane. By July I'm completely checked out and don't tune back in until September.
The pitch clock helped with game length but the season itself is just too long. I know they'll never shorten it because of money but imagine an 120-game season where every game actually matters.
Am I alone in this or is baseball losing people to the grind?
I just follow standings and watch from September on. The regular season is background noise until the playoff race heats up.
