There are these organized leagues at parks all over DFW — usually Sunday mornings. Full kits, refs, standings, the whole thing. I played in one in Irving a few years ago and it was legit competitive.
Lost track of it when I moved to Garland. Does anyone know of leagues on the east side of the metroplex? I'm in decent shape and played in high school. Not amazing but not a liability.
Also what's the etiquette — do you just show up and ask to sub in or do you need to know someone?
Most leagues want you to commit to the season once you join. They take it seriously. Bring cleats and shin guards.
