What You'll Do
- Process and analyze blood, urine, and tissue samples in the clinical laboratory
- Operate automated analyzers for chemistry, hematology, and coagulation testing
- Perform quality control checks at the start of each shift and document results
- Call critical lab values to ordering physicians within 15 minutes of verification
- Maintain lab instruments, troubleshoot errors, and escalate to the lab supervisor as needed
What You Need
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Texas license or national certification (ASCP, AMT) as MLT or MLS
- Experience with automated lab systems (Siemens, Abbott, or Beckman Coulter)
- Attention to detail — one wrong result can change a patient's treatment plan
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
