Data center construction in DFW is insane right now. Electricians working on the Allen data center corridor are making $85-100K with overtime. 60-hour weeks but the money is there.

The trades labor shortage is real. I own a plumbing company and cannot find enough workers. Starting journeymen at $60K with full benefits.

HVAC in Texas is job security for life. It's 105 degrees 3 months of the year. AC will never not be needed.

I did the IBEW apprenticeship. 5 years. Now I'm a journeyman making $72K at 26 with zero debt. My college friends are making $55K with $80K in loans.
