The DallasPD crime map is the most useful tool nobody knows about. Type in any address and see exactly what's happened on that block.

Deep Ellum property crime is real. Had my catalytic converter stolen from a "secure" parking garage. $2,800 repair. Get comprehensive insurance.

Southlake at 0.4 violent crimes per 1,000 is essentially zero crime. The trade-off is $750K+ homes and zero cultural diversity.
