Deep Ellum food guide 2026: Every restaurant worth eating at

Deep Ellum has the highest concentration of good restaurants in DFW. Here's the complete guide.

Don't miss:

  • Pecan Lodge (2702 Main St) — BBQ. Hot Mess. Line forms at 10 AM.
  • Revolver Taco Lounge (2720 Main St) — Best tacos in Dallas.
  • Cane Rosso (2612 Commerce St) — Best pizza in Dallas.
  • Terry Black's (3025 Main St) — Beef ribs the size of your head.
  • Meso Maya (2730 Commerce St) — Interior Mexican. Mole flights.

Hidden gems most people walk past:

  • Monkey King Noodle Co (2933 Main St) — Hand-pulled noodles. Dan dan noodles are $12 and life-changing.
  • Off The Bone (1734 N Haskell Ave) — BBQ with soul food sides. Mac and cheese is the best in DFW.
  • Radical Research Brewing — Not technically a restaurant but their beer + rotating food collabs are elite.

Late night (after 10 PM):

  • Angry Dog — Dogs and beer. No frills.
  • Pepe & Mito's (2911 Elm St) — Tex-Mex open late. Queso is addictive.

Coffee/breakfast:

  • Murray Street Coffee (103 Murray St) — Best coffee shop in Deep Ellum. Pastries rotate.

Skip: The tourist-trap oyster bar near Main. You know which one. Overpriced, underwhelming.

Murray Street Coffee is the correct answer for Deep Ellum AM. That cold brew on a Sunday morning before the crowds arrive is perfection.

Monkey King hand-pulled noodles are the most underrated dish in Deep Ellum. You can watch them pull the noodles through the window.

Off The Bone mac and cheese is better than Pecan Lodge's. I will not be taking questions.
