Cane Rosso vs Eno's vs Zoli's: Who actually has the best pizza in DFW?

The DFW pizza scene has exploded. Here's a breakdown of the top contenders.

Neapolitan style:

  • Cane Rosso (Deep Ellum, 2612 Commerce St + multiple) — The Honey Bastard (soppressata + hot honey + ricotta) is their masterpiece. Consistently great. $14-18 pies.
  • Eno's Pizza Tavern (Bishop Arts, 407 N Bishop Ave) — More relaxed vibe. The white pizza is excellent. Good beer list. $12-16.

New York style:

  • Zoli's (Addison, 14741 Inwood Rd) — From the Cane Rosso team. The Honey Bastard in NY-style form. Massive slices.
  • Greenville Avenue Pizza Company (1923 Greenville Ave) — GAPC has been around forever. Solid NY slices, good late-night option.

Deep dish / Detroit style:

  • Thunderbird Pies (Lakewood, 2018 Greenville Ave) — Detroit-style with crispy cheese edges. Best in the style in DFW.

My ranking:

  1. Cane Rosso (Honey Bastard is the single best pizza in DFW)
  2. Thunderbird Pies (Detroit-style innovation)
  3. Eno's (best casual pizza night)
  4. Zoli's (best slices)

Thunderbird Pies is so slept on. Detroit-style pizza is having a moment and they're the best version of it in Dallas.

Cane Rosso Honey Bastard is the correct answer. That hot honey soppressata combo is insane.

Eno's Bishop Arts location has the best vibe of any pizza spot in DFW. Patio + cold beer + wood-fired pizza.
