What NOT to bring:

  • Tall chairs that block the view behind you
  • Loud Bluetooth speakers (the movie has sound already, friend)

Schedule tip: Most outdoor movie series announce their full summer lineup in May. Follow the parks department social media for your city.

Levitt Pavilion in Arlington does free concerts AND movies. One of the best free entertainment venues in mid-cities.

Klyde Warren Park movie nights are peak Dallas summer vibes. Blanket on the grass, food truck dinner, movie under the skyline. And it's free.

Bug spray is NOT optional at outdoor movies in DFW. Mosquitoes treat outdoor movie nights as an all-you-can-eat buffet.
