Updated weekly. Here's the current DFW gas landscape.

Cheapest stations this week (regular unleaded):

  1. Costco — Plano (75 & Spring Creek) — $2.47/gal
  2. Sam's Club — Arlington (Cooper & I-20) — $2.49/gal
  3. QT — Mesquite (Town East & I-30) — $2.53/gal
  4. Buc-ee's — Fort Worth (I-35W & Risinger) — $2.51/gal
  5. Murphy USA (Walmart) — Garland (Firewheel) — $2.54/gal

Most expensive areas:

  • Uptown Dallas: $3.10+ average
  • Highland Park/University Park: $3.15+
  • Southlake: $3.05+

Pro tips:

  • GasBuddy app is accurate within 2-3 hours for DFW. I cross-reference daily.
  • Costco and Sam's memberships pay for themselves in gas savings alone if you fill up weekly.
  • QT consistently has the cheapest non-membership prices.
  • Avoid gas stations near DFW Airport and Love Field — 20-40 cents higher.

The Costco gas line at 75 & Spring Creek is 20 cars deep on weekends. Go Tuesday or Wednesday morning.

Buc-ee's gas prices are elite but I always end up spending $30 on snacks inside so the savings are a wash.

QT at Town East is consistently the cheapest non-membership gas in east Dallas/Mesquite. Can confirm.
