With SMU in the ACC and TCU in the Big 12 they don't play as often as they used to in conference. But when they DO meet it has real energy now because both programs are actually good.
Grew up watching this rivalry when neither team was relevant nationally. Now both are in power conferences with legit rosters. The non-conference game this year was probably the most fun I've had at a college game in DFW.
We need to make this an annual thing again no matter what.
I went to TCU and my roommate went to SMU. We almost didn't survive that game. The trash talk was elite.
