I drive a Tesla Model 3 in DFW. Here's the real EV experience.
Supercharger locations (Tesla):
- Plano (Legacy Dr) — 20 stalls, usually available
- Dallas (Knox/Henderson area) — 12 stalls, gets busy weekday evenings
- Fort Worth (Hulen area) — 16 stalls, rarely full
- Frisco (Stonebriar area) — 16 stalls
- Arlington (near AT&T Stadium) — 12 stalls

Free charging:
- Many DFW malls have free Level 2 chargers (NorthPark, Galleria, Stonebriar)
- Some workplaces offer free charging (ask your HR)
- PlugShare app maps every charger including free ones. Source: plugshare.com
Cost comparison (monthly):
- My electricity cost (home charging): ~$45/month for 1,200 miles
- Equivalent gas cost for same miles (30mpg, $2.80/gal): ~$112/month
- Monthly savings: ~$67
