I'm a project coordinator making $48K and every project manager job I see in DFW wants a PMP. The certification isn't cheap ($500+ for the exam alone) and the study time is significant.
For those who got a PMP — did it actually help you get hired? Did your salary jump? Or is it one of those certifications that looks good on paper but doesn't move the needle?
Specifically interested in DFW market since that's where I'm looking.
