Garland PD is investigating a road rage shooting that occurred on I-635 near the Jupiter Road exit around 5:45 PM.
What happened:
- Two vehicles were involved in an altercation on eastbound 635
- Shots were fired from a black pickup truck (possibly Ford F-150)
- One person in the other vehicle was hit — non-life-threatening injuries per Garland PD
- Suspect vehicle exited at Jupiter and fled southbound
Current situation:
- Victim transported to Baylor Garland
- Right two lanes of EB 635 closed for investigation
- Garland PD is searching for the suspect vehicle
