After reading about all the car thefts in DFW I'm paranoid every time I park my car. I drive a 2019 Hyundai which is apparently the number one target.
What anti-theft stuff actually works? I've seen:
- Steering wheel clubs ($25-40)
- Brake pedal locks ($30-50)
- AirTags hidden in the car (tracking, not prevention)
- Aftermarket kill switches ($100-200 installed)
Is a kill switch worth the money? Or is the steering wheel club enough to make them skip your car? I'm not trying to Fort Knox my Hyundai but I also don't want to walk out to an empty parking space.
