Companies that cut jobs in DFW (2025-2026):

- Match Group (Dallas) — Cut 15% of workforce in late 2025. Tinder and Hinge teams affected.
- Salesforce (offices in Dallas and Frisco) — Ongoing "restructuring." DFW office reduced.
- Several mid-size DFW SaaS companies — Not making headlines but LinkedIn is full of "open to work" posts from Plano/Richardson/Frisco tech workers.

- Fort Worth defense and aerospace is recession-proof and AI-proof.
- Remote roles are harder to land. Companies are pulling back on full remote.

- Junior software engineer: $75K-$95K
- Mid-level software engineer: $110K-$145K
- Senior software engineer: $150K-$200K
- Staff/Principal: $190K-$280K
