The quieter ownership is actually better for basketball operations. Cuban was great but sometimes his public persona created distractions. Let the basketball people do their jobs in peace.

I want a rim protector. The defense leaks at the rim and a shot-blocker who can play 12-15 minutes would dramatically improve the team. You do not need them to shoot — Luka and Kyrie generate all the offense.

Game 4 against OKC was the single greatest individual game I have ever watched from a Mav. That stepback three to win it — I was at AAC and the building shook. I am not exaggerating.

Jamie Benn as captain for over a decade deserves recognition. The Art Ross season in 2015 was magical — he won the scoring title on the last day of the regular season. Clutch.

The Raising Cane's at A Quiet Place story is sending me. That person has no fear. The crunch of the toast alone would get you ejected from Alamo.

Walking to Katy Trail Ice House after a Mavs win on a warm night is peak Dallas. Cold beer, outdoor seating, good vibes. Cannot beat it.

The three-point regression is the killer. This team lives and dies by the three-point shot. When role players go from 38% to 35% in the playoffs, the entire offense loses 3-4 points per game of efficiency.

Pace slowing is structural and cannot be fixed. Playoff basketball is slower. The Mavs need to build an offense that can win in the half court, not just in transition.

Modano at number 1 is unchallengeable. 561 goals, 20 seasons, the face of hockey in Texas. Nobody else is even in the conversation for the top spot.

Tickets being cheap is actually the best part. I took my daughters and it cost less than a Mavs nosebleed.

The data center construction in DFW is the real story. Three hyperscale facilities going up around Garland and Midlothian. Those create hundreds of construction jobs now and permanent tech jobs later regardless of the AI hype cycle.

Hockey fans being knowledgeable is the real factor. When 18,000 people react simultaneously to a subtle defensive play, the building feels alive in a way that other sports cannot replicate.

It's the location for sure. Nobody wants to drive to Arlington on a work night. Move them to the AAC or Dickies and watch what happens.

The nose tackle pick in round 3 of the draft directly addresses this. A 310-pound space eater who can hold point of attack. Exactly what we needed.

The Netflix documentary was incredible. It completely changed how I viewed the cheerleaders. The athletic demands are insane. These are elite dancers and athletes.

Blitzing Luka and giving up 1.14 PPP shows how impossible it is to defend this offense. Every counter creates an even more efficient shot. Teams are stuck in a no-win situation.

This is not debatable for anyone who has been to a Stars playoff game. I have been to Cowboys games at full capacity and it does not come close. The AAC for hockey is a different level of intensity.

Watching our guys ball out in the Bundesliga while we finish 8th in the West is pain.

Six touchdowns allowed in coverage is brutal. Even with the excuse of being a young player, that number has to drop significantly or we are looking at another bottom-10 pass defense.

DFW college sports needed this. Having two programs in power conferences that actually hate each other is great for the city.

You're not wrong. I have season tickets and I skip weeknight games because the drive from Fort Worth is brutal.

Eagles fan living in Dallas here. That rivalry is real in this city. I wore my Eagles jersey to work after Week 6 and three different people refused to talk to me. I love it.

Jersey number 9 being retired was emotional. The ceremony at AAC was packed. Modano tearing up on the ice was the most human moment I have seen from a professional athlete.

Mesquite resident here. Some neighborhoods are perfectly fine. Sunnyvale-adjacent areas near Town East are great value. Don't write off the whole city.

The VFX industry being overworked and underpaid is part of this problem. When studios demand 3000 CGI shots in 6 months, quality suffers. Practical effects force filmmakers to plan better.
