There was a massive water main break on Gaston Avenue near Fitzhugh yesterday. Water was gushing into the street for hours before the city got it under control.
Three businesses on that block had water damage — I saw them sweeping water out of the front doors. The street was basically a river.
This is the third major water main break in East Dallas in the last 2 months. Our infrastructure is falling apart and the city just keeps patching instead of replacing these ancient pipes.
Anyone else affected or know the businesses that got hit?
