Dallas weather in one week: All four seasons speed run

Monday: 82 degrees and sunny. Wore shorts and flip flops.

Tuesday: 78 degrees. Nice breeze. "DFW is actually really nice."

Wednesday: Tornado warning. Hail the size of golf balls. My car looks like it was attacked by a very angry golf course.

Thursday: 43 degrees. Freezing rain. Where is my coat? I don't own a coat. I live in TEXAS.

Friday: 75 degrees again. Birds singing. Sun shining. As if Wednesday never happened.

Saturday: 95 degrees. It's April.

Sunday: "Light chance of rain." Translation: biblical flood for exactly 22 minutes, then sunshine.

If you don't like the weather in DFW, wait 15 minutes. If you DO like the weather, also wait 15 minutes.

The only consistent thing about DFW weather is that your weather app is wrong.

Agree or disagree?

The weather app being wrong is so accurate. I've started just looking outside. Revolutionary technology called "windows."

The hail damage thing is not a joke. My car insurance premium in DFW is 40% more than when I lived in Ohio and the HAIL is why.

The tornado warning to sunny skies pipeline is a real phenomenon. My out-of-state friends think I'm exaggerating. I am not.

I have a winter coat, a rain jacket, shorts, and sunscreen in my car at all times. This is not a joke. This is survival.
