Drove past the new Amazon facility on I-35E in Lancaster and there's a huge "NOW HIRING" banner. Friend who works at the one in Haslet says starting pay is $18-19/hr for warehouse associates with benefits after 30 days.
Not glamorous work but if you need a job quick they'll hire you fast. The overnight shifts pay more. Heard they're also hiring for driver positions at the delivery station nearby.
Anybody currently working at an Amazon facility in DFW? What's it actually like day to day?
I worked at the Haslet one for 6 months. It's hard work but the benefits are solid and they promoted me twice.
