Credit union vs bank in DFW: Where to put your money

Switched from Chase to EECU three years ago and I'm never going back. No monthly fees, no minimum balance BS, and their auto loan rates are consistently 1-2% lower than what the dealership offered me.

The only downside is fewer ATMs and branches but honestly I use Zelle and mobile deposit for everything now so it barely matters.

A buddy of mine uses Resource One in Dallas and likes them too. Their app is actually decent which is saying a lot for a credit union.

If you're still paying Chase or BofA $12/month just to have a checking account you're literally giving away money for no reason. The big banks don't offer anything a credit union can't match except more fees.
