the womens program was a big reason i chose Alliance. having multiple female training partners at every belt level makes a huge difference. im not always the only woman on the mat and that matters

Alliance Dallas competition team is legit. they show up to every NAGA and IBJJF event in the region with a deep squad and consistently medalist. if you want to compete with a strong team behind you, this is the gym

the intensity is real and its a double edged sword. i loved being pushed but some weeks the hard training was too much for my body. you have to learn to manage your own training load because the culture is go-go-go

the competition vs hobbyist culture depends heavily on which class you attend. the competition team class is intense. the fundamentals and regular classes are more accessible. choose your classes based on your goals

dropped in for a class and the technique instruction was excellent. very detail oriented with an emphasis on why each detail matters for competition. the coaching is clearly informed by competition experience
