What You'll Do
- Install asphalt shingles, underlayment, and flashing on residential roofs (mostly new builds and hail damage replacements)
- Tear off old roofing material and prep the deck for new installation
- Install ridge vents, pipe boots, and drip edge per manufacturer specifications
- Clean up job sites daily — homeowners notice when you leave a mess
- Work on crews of 4-6 people, completing 1-2 roofs per day depending on size
What You Need
- Must be comfortable working at heights on steep-slope roofs (harness provided)
- Physical ability to carry bundles of shingles (70 lbs each) up ladders
- Some roofing experience preferred but they'll train motivated beginners
- Must have reliable transportation to the Frisco staging area by 6:30 AM
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus (they'll pay for it if you don't have it)
What They Offer
- $18-$25/hr depending on experience (piece-rate bonus available on high-volume days)
- Hail season in DFW means steady work from March through October
