Police are investigating a fatal accident where a bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle on Savannah Ave in Port Arthur late Thursday night.
PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Savannah Avenue in Port Arthur late Thursday night, according to Port Arthur police chief Timothy Duriso. The chief said the driver stopped and was cooperating with police.
Officers responded to 25th St and Savannah Ave just before 10 p.m. and arrived to find a man in his late 50s, had been hit by a vehicle. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
